UQU President to Sponsor the Annual Forum of First-Year Students

Under the sponsorship of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas,  the Deanship of Students Affairs will organize the activities of the 3rd Forum of First-Year Students for the year 1438 H during the period from Dhul-Hijjah 27 to 29, 1438 H at King Saud Hall in Abdyia campus.   


Meanwhile, Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Taha bin Amro Al-Saggaf valued the attention paid by the UQU President to the activities in the university indicating that the first-year students for the academic year 1438/1439 H amounting to 15 thousand students will learn about the academic programs to be provided by their colleges during  the forum period which will last for three days whereas students will learn about their duties and rights, study courses, the curricula and works to be undertaken during their study march in the university. 

 

Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Saggaf said the colleges which will participate in the first day include College of D'awa and Islamic Theology, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Arabic Language and Literature,  College of Islamic Economics and Finance, College of Community, while the second day will witness participation of the College of Engineering, and Islamic Architecture, College of Judicial Studies and Regulations, Deanship of Preparatory Year with its medical, administrative and scientific streams and the third day will witness participation of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, College of Social Sciences, College of Applied Sciences, College of Education and Jamoum University College.   

 

He went on to add that male and female students will learn about the future prospects of their majors and the supportive deanships needed during their study period including the Deanship of Scientific Research, Deanship of Information Technology, Deanship of Admission and Registration, Deanship of Library Affairs and other deanships.  

He called upon all students to attend the programs and activities to be provided by the Deanship during this forum which will be divided into two periods from 9:00   AM to 1: 00 PM for male students  and from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM for female students.
