The Deanship of IT on Monday, 12^th of Jumada II, 1437H (March 21, 2016) at 11:00 a.m. organized a workshop to introduce the new portal and its websites' management techniques to the deans, heads of departments and website managers. It held the workshop, first of its type, at King Abdulaziz historical chamber in Al- Abidia (Secondary room 1).

They reviewed important and key details of the portal, access credentials and portal management. The deanship was represented by Dr. Majid M. Al-Gethami Al-Otaibi, the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Atef bin Mansour Al-Hijaili, the Vice Dean for Electronic Transactions, Eng. Saleh Ba-Hamdain, the Head of the E-Services Department and the deanship coordinators who are responsible for communication with other entities and are assigned to collect the web content.

In the course of its introductory program, the Deanship is scheduled to organize another workshop on Tuesday, 14^th of Jumada II 1437H (Corresponding to March 23, 2016) to explain the technical and practical specifications of the new portal.

The portal's development step is an important part of a plan to present the university in the proper way which reflects its progress and success. Additionally, the new portal provides distinguished services that contribute to the progress made by the university employees and the scientific researchers.
