UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas has approved the administrative promotions of UQU staff who are eligible for promotions, from 10th rank and below, amounting to 302 employees. This took place at his office in Abdyia during his meeting with the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, Director of Employees and Faculty Members Affairs Mr. Nazar Abbas, Head of Promotions Department Mr. Marwan Al-Solami and Director of Planning and Budget Department Mr. Waleed Simbawa.

On this occasion, Dr. Assas congratulated UQU staff who were promoted at the UQU Headquarters in Makkah and its branches at Jamoum, Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah wishing these promotions to motivate them to exert more diligent effort in serving this lofty scientific entity, praying Allah the almighty to grant them success.

Within the same vein, Dr. Shoushou expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to UQU President HE Dr. Bakri Assas for approving the administrative promotions. He also congratulated all those who were promoted, wishing them further progress and advancement to serve this scientific edifice located at the land of revelation, and  wishing for those who were not promoted this time to be promoted as soon as there is a vacancy in future. He added that Faculty Members and Employees Affairs Department save no effort under the support of top leadership in the university to create the ripe circumstances and necessary jobs to promote the employees who deserve to be promoted.  

Further, the Head of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs Department Mr. Nazar Abbas and the Head of Promotions Department Mr. Marwan Al-Solami congratulated all the promoted employees and wished them all success. They also valued the support attached to the Department of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs by UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and the close follow up of UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou.
