On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah protect him – HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, President of the Supreme Hajj Committee of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, sponsored on Wednesday evening, Shabaan 14th, 1438 A.H., the activities of the two-days 17th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research, organized by Umm Al-Qura University represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research.
The ceremony sponsor was shown a documentary on the progress made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research to enhance Hajj and Umrah organization, as well as its developmental milestones over the past years, in addition to the research programs and studies that have improved the levels of service provided to pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Holy Mosque.
The Crown Prince honored participants and sponsors of the activities of the 17th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research in Madinah. At the end of the ceremony, the royal anthem was played, then the Crown Prince left the hall showered with warn greetings and honors, in the presence of the Emir of Madinah HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Deputy-Emir of Madinah HRH Prince Saud bin Khalid Al Faisal.
As soon as the Crown Prince arrived, the royal anthem was played. After he took his seat on the main podium, the ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.
On this occasion, the Crown Prince received commemorative shields from the president of Taibah University, and the president of Umm Al Qura University, supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of HRH Nawwaf bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz and HRH Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz, alongside a number of civil and military senior officials, as well as a group of interested staff and researchers from Saudi universities, academic institutes and agencies concerned with Hajj and Umrah.
On his arrival at Taibah University in Madina, HRH was received by Minister of Hajj Dr. Mohammed Saleh Bentin, President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas, Vice President of Taibah University Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sarani, Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute at UQU Dr. Sami bin Yassin Barhamain, as well as a number of civil and military senior leaders.
