The Deanship of Library Affairs received a number of ‘Dhawi Al-Basirah [Insightful]’, visually impaired, students. During the visit, the students were edified on the library services provided for them, and a group of Braille books and references, covering various disciplines, were reviewed. In addition, the students were familiarized with the devices and tools designed to serve them.
Some of the proposals submitted by the students regarding the enrichment of the ‘Dhawi Al-Basirah’ people's corner and the training needs of the beneficiaries of its services were also discussed. At the end of the visit, the students lauded the services provided by the library, and they received memorial gifts and souvenirs from the staff of the deanship.
This visit comes within the framework of cooperation between the various entities inside the UQU to provide the best services to support the educational process for the students and to facilitate their access to information.
