Out of the keenness of the Department of Chemistry to maintain the safety of its affiliates, including the technical and administrative staff and the students, the executive team responsible for following up on the precautionary measures and the safe in-person return of the employees and students visited the classroom and laboratories of the department. They ensured the application of precautionary measures by the academic staff and students as well as their commitment to wearing face masks and following proper social distancing practices during the performance of practical experiments.
The executive team also confirmed the vaccination process through the “Tawakkalna” application and ensured that all students had received the two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
Moreover, the executive team, led by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Mutaz bin Hashim Murad, stressed that the application of precautionary measures is a basic requirement for in-person attendance in the classrooms, facilities and laboratories in the university.
During the visit, the Head of the Department, Dr. Mutaz bin Hashim Murad, and the executive team members congratulated the students on the start of the academic year, wishing them success and progress. Lastly, they implored Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to relieve our country, all Muslim countries, and the whole world of the coronavirus epidemic.
