Out of the keenness of the academic, technical and administrative staff and the students of the Department of Chemistry, an executive team responsible for following up on the precautionary measures and the safe return in person of the employees and students visited the classrooms and ensured the application of the precautionary measures by academic staff and students as well as their commitment to wearing face masks and following proper social distancing practices in the classrooms. The executive team also confirmed the vaccination process through the “Tawakkalna” application and ensured that all students had received the two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

Moreover, the executive team, led by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Mutaz bin Hashim Murad, stressed that the application of precautionary measures is a basic requirement for in-person attendance in the classrooms, facilities and laboratories in the university.

During the visit to the classrooms, the Head of the Department, Dr. Mutaz bin Hashim Murad, and the executive team members congratulated the students on the start of the academic year, wishing them success and progress. Lastly, they implored Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to relieve our country, all Muslim countries, and the whole world of the coronavirus epidemic.
