The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Muhammad bin Taher bin Muhammad Ali Tayyeb as the Head of Medical Genetics Department at the College of Medicine for a tenure of two years, as of Dhul-Qeadah 26, 1436H;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Tarik bin Abdul-Ali bin Samal al-Salmi as the Head of Psychology Department at the College of Education for a tenure of two years, as of Jumada I 17, 1437H;
- Designating Dr. Naeem bin Fawzi bin Hussein Qesti as the Head of Lab Medicine Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences for a tenure of six months as of Rajab 20, 1437H; and
- Renewing mandate of Ms. Umayyah bent Muhammad Walid al-Fahmawi as the Assistant Supervisor of English Department at Qunfudah University College (Girls Section) for a tenure of one year, as of Jumada I 16, 1437H.
The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
