His Excellency the Dean of Library Affairs, Prof. Khalid bin Sulaiman Maatouq, met with the heads of the administrative and technical departments of the deanship. The meeting was attended by Her Excellency the Vice Dean for Development and Quality, Dr. Najwa Samarqandi, and the Library Director, Mr. Abdullah Al-Sulaimani.

This is the first meeting after the restructuring of the Deanship of Library Affairs in accordance with the new standards for libraries regarding the researchers and beneficiaries.

During the meeting, Her Excellency the Vice Dean was welcomed in the first meeting of the deanship after being recently appointed by the President of the University. The dean spoke about the need to prepare, plan and take the proper measures for the beginning of the first semester to provide high quality services to the students and academic staff members, raise the efficiency of the information services, and prepare a plan for training the beneficiaries. He also directed the concerned departments to prepare and equip the different facilities.

At the end of the meeting, the dean thanked all the attendees and lauded the directives of His Excellency the Vice President for Studies and Scientific Research and his keenness to prepare and equip the Deanship of Library Affairs to best welcome the researchers.
