Today, Sunday, 03 Dhul-Qa`dah 1442 A.H., witnessed the launch of the thirteenth summer training course for Arabic Language Instructors, organized by the UQU Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers for 22 teachers from different regions of the State of Indonesia. The training course will continue over a period of 4 weeks as part of the training program package approved by the Royal Decree issued in 1428 A.H.
During the opening of the first session of the training course, the Dean of the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, Prof. Hasan Bukhari, stressed the university's keenness to harness its technical capabilities and invest the skills of its educational cadres to carry on with its leading role in promoting the Arabic language and spreading its education across the globe. He also praised the lauded follow-up of the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, and commended the cooperation of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education in supporting the training course by providing the needed technologies.
On his part, the Dean of the Institute explained that the training course includes training packages specialized in teaching Arabic language to non-native speakers, covering the preparation of teaching materials, teaching its components, the four skills, effective teaching skills, and linguistic assessment. This is in addition to Shari`ah-related packages of training courses, such as the characteristics of the Islamic Shari`ah, contemporary jurisprudence issues, and rules for dealing with misconceptions. The courses will be presented by a distinguished elite of the institute’s skilled academic cadres.
