The University President approved the decisions of the Academic Council in its following sessions: Twenty-Two, Twenty-Three, and Twenty-Five, for the academic year 1442 A.H., regarding the promotion of a number of academic staff members, as follows:

1. Dr. Sultan bin Hamoud Thallab Al-Omari, to the rank of professor in the Department of Shari`ah at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies.
2. Dr. Yusuf bin Atiyyah Ali Al-Thubaiti, to the rank of professor in the Department of Physical Education at the College of Education.
3. Dr. Ebtisam bint Uwaid Ayyad Al-Matrafi, to the rank of professor in the Department of Shari`ah at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies.
4. Dr. Suad bint Furiah Salih Al-Thaqafi, to the rank of professor in the Department of Rhetoric and Criticism at the College of Arabic Language and Literature.
5. Dr. Khalil bin Ahmad Ahmad Al-Mirdahi, to the rank of associate professor in the Department of Quranic Recitations at the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
6. Dr. Abdul-Khaliq bin Jalal Al-Din Dawlah Abdul-Salam, to the rank of associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the College of Education.
