The UQU College of Public Health and Health Informatics has participated in the Newcomers Workshop organized by Makkah Maternity Hospital on Sunday, Rajab 19, 1438H, corresponding to April 17, 2017. On this occasion, Dr. Shamim M. Saleem, professor of health education and promotion, College of Public Health and Health Informatics, delivered a lecture on the methods of medical waste disposal.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Shamim received a certificate of appreciation from Dr. Anas A. Sidayo, Director of Makkah Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, for his valuable contribution.
For his part, Dr. Waheeb D. al-Harbi, dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, stated that the college shows keen interest in partnerships with the various health sectors, and in patronizing educational and awareness-raising activities, within the framework of the College's mission, and its endeavors to promoting the health status of the Meccan community.
