Responsibilities of UQU Security Department
- Set policies and plans of security and safety at the UQU premises and facilities.
- Take security and safety measures that ensure maintenance of the campus' facilities at the preventive and security levels.
- Coordinate with competent security bodies such as the General Department of Traffic, General Directorate of Civil Defense, Ministry of Health, and Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
- Make sure that standards and regulations relating to security are applied to maintain the general safety at the UQU.
- Monitor the security devices used at all premises, facilities and work sites throughout the UQU and verify their effectiveness, safety and conformity with preventive standards.
- Coordinate with Ministry of Health in taking necessary precautions for protecting the UQU students from health risks and damage by spreading health awareness among students via the tools and means available through programs that are applied to all colleges, work sites and premises at the UQU.
- Prepare regular and immediate reports on accidents that take place at the UQU.
