Duties of the Architectural and Urban Studies Department
Functional Duties:
- Ensure all the initial designs meet the needs of the users, in coordination with the Department of Initial Designs. These designs should comply with the security and safety rules as well as the needs of disabled persons. Moreover, they should conform to the university's identity and character.
- Prepare the bill of quantities, delivery stages, and booklets of the designs and studies.
- Identify the site of the implementation of the project on the general plan of the university or the branches, according to the university's requirements.
- Ensure the traffic studies and soil studies of the projects are presented.
- Review the traffic studies and the soil studies presented by the design consultant.
- Submit the reports on the tender booklets and their statuses to the direct manager.
Required Expertise and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering along with experience not less than 5 years in this field.
- A course in computing.
- Complete knowledge of architectural design programs.
