Memorandum of Cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University and the Ministry of Health for the Master of Clinical Pharmacy

With the presence of the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Umm Al-Qura University and the Ministry of Health, which includes four contracts, including the provision of study places for a master’s degree in clinical pharmacy to employees of the Ministry of Health, which aims to develop pharmacists at the level Cognitive in addition to clinical practical training in various disciplines of precise clinical pharmacy, the program also provides research skills that mainly benefit health practitioners and support clinical research and evidence-based science. The program aims to graduate pharmacists who are able to work with the medical team and provide medication consultations in order to reduce medical errors and provide the best care for patients.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Maadi bin Muhammad Al Madhab and signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Human Resources a. Abdul Rahman Al-Aiban, and the Vice Dean of Umm Al-Qura University for Educational Affairs, Dr. Amer Al-Zaidi with regard to educational, training and research aspects, in addition to the Director General of Academic Affairs and Training in the Ministry of Health, Ahmed Al-Fuhaid, and the Dean of the Applied College at Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Saleh Al-Freih.
