Abstract
This research is about pronominal anaphora and its effect on textual cohesion, applying that to what was reported from the Qudsi hadith. The research consists of an introduction that includes. the subject of the research, the reasons for choosing it, its importance and problems, the hypotheses of the study, its objective, its methodology and previous studies, and commentary on them. Chapter One: Anaphora in text grammar, in which I talked about: The concept of anaphora (language and terminology), its importance in text grammar, and its elements, types, and tools. Chapter Two: Types of anaphora in the Qudsi hadith, in which I talked about earlier and later anaphora, external anaphora, lexical and textual anaphora, short-term anaphora, and long-term anaphora. Chapter Three: Pronominal anaphora in Sahih Qudsi hadith, in which I talked about: The importance of the pronominal anaphora, the words indicating connection with the pronoun, the types of pronounsin Arabic, the role of the pronoun in anaphora, textual cohesion, and the types of anaphoric linkage in the Qudsi hadith. Then the research ended with a conclusion and the most important results of the study and a list of sources and references.
