Abstract
This study aims to outline the elements of semantic parallelism in the Holy Qur’an in Surat Al-Ghashiya, as a model. The Applied framework of the study includes studying the phonological, lexical and the syntactic levels of the Surat Al-Ghashiya. The results highlight the role of parallelism in the cohesion of the Holy text and the importance of using old and new methods of linguistic analysis to reveal the metaphoric meaning and its’ impact on the readers’ true understanding of the text in Surat Al-Ghashiya.
