Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of a counseling program on the development of psychological capital among a sample of mothers from single-parent families in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The study adopted a quasi-experimental design, selecting participants from single-parent families and dividing them into two groups: "experimental" and "control," through purposive sampling, ensuring homogeneity between the groups. The sample consisted of 20 mothers, with 10 in the experimental group and 10 in the control group. The study utilized two primary tools: the psychological capital scale and a counseling program developed by the researchers.

The study produced the following key findings:

1. Statistically significant differences were found between the average ranks of the control and experimental group members on the psychological capital scale in the post-test, favoring the experimental group.

2. Statistically significant differences were observed between the average ranks of the experimental group members' scores on the psychological capital scale in the pre- and post-tests, with the post-test showing higher results.

3. No statistically significant differences were found between the average ranks of the experimental group members' scores on the psychological capital scale between the post-test and follow-up measurements.
