On the occasion of the International Women's Day, under the supervision of the instructors of the poetry course, Dr. Hadil Azhar, Dr. Fadia Mariani, Dr. Nada Al-Utaibi, and Dr. Maryam Al-Ghamdi, the eighth-level students of the English Department showcase the most prominent poems, achievements, and works of British and American poets throughout history and literary times.
This activity is held annually and is accompanied by presentations and educational posters aimed at educating the various students of the department on the importance of poetry, and the role of female poets in the advancement of society and in regaining women's lost rights.
