About the Program:

The Print Design and Advertising Program at the College of Designs, Umm Al-Qura University, awards a bachelor's degree with a study plan consisting of 130 credit hours, over a four-year study period.

Vision:

To be an academic beacon in the field of printed design and advertising, locally and regionally.

Mission:

Preparing designers to be capable of keeping abreast of developments in the field of printed design and advertising, locally promoting a culture of visual communication, and enhancing scientific research and continuing education.

Objectives:

  • Preparing graduates who are capable of innovation and competition in the field of printed design and advertising.
  • Contributing to the development of printed design and advertising locally, regionally and internationally.
  • Providing an educational environment for students to acquire the knowledge, skills and proficiency necessary to advance their intellectual and creative abilities.
  • Deepening the connection between the program and the community. 
  • Stimulating the culture of scientific research and knowledge advancement in the field of printed design and advertising.
