Praise be to Allah, the Majestic, the Giver. Blessings and peace be upon the one sent as a mercy to mankind, as well as on his family and companions, and on those who walked on his path, and followed his way until the resurrection day.

The Department of Interior Design is one of the departments under the College of Designs and Arts. The Department was established to keep abreast of developments in contemporary communities, including our community, in order to create an Arab Muslim community that takes pride in its noble religious values and its authentic Arab ingredients.

It is also regarded as one of the leading departments in its specialty. Its programs are based on the latest theories, studies and skills. Its objectives, mission and vision are based on the objectives, mission and vision of the university.

The University Administration, the Deanship of the College and the Department, are all determined to bring into existence a specialized and strong department in its field, and to assign teaching and training in it to national and contracted competent staff, to ensure - by Allah's grace - capable graduates, who contribute to the building of their community.

The Department is witnessing a steady turnout. Its graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Interior Design. It aspires in the future to offer courses, diplomas and postgraduate studies in its specialization, to the benefit of society, and to keep up with the development of civilization. In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the Department keeps pace with variables in the specialization arenas. It is competing for an advanced position among its counterparts by continuously developing its programs to achieve these goals.
