Today, Sunday, the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, honored Musa Al-Zahrani, a graduate student with first-class honors from the Media Department, for being awarded the Hajj medal in return for his participation in several Hajj seasons. In addition, the UQU President honored the student Abdullah Al-Amir for his excellent presentation in the ceremony for the Makkah Excellence Award and also the student Juwain Al-Sahafi for obtaining third place in the National Olympiad for Scientific Innovation for her research entitled: "Photobiomodulation Using High-Energy Pulsed Laser (Nd: YAG): Innovative Technology for the Treatment of Colon Cancer".
The UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, congratulated the students for this outstanding national achievement, stressed the importance of supporting and giving the needed attention to the talents of the youth, and praised the support of the wise leadership for the educational process. He also noted the support of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Aal Al-Sheikh, to the development activities and programs offered by the university.
The UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Amer Al-Zaidi, noted that the Vice Presidency, in partnership with the relevant bodies and colleges, will embark on developing the students' projects and extracurricular programs and boosting the culture of innovation among the students. This culture will contribute to refining the students' talents as well as the educational programs they receive.
