The activities of the 8th scientific forum for UQU male and female students organized by Deanship of Students Affairs from Rajab 14 to 19, 1438 H wrapped up. They were held at King Abdul-Aziz Supportive hall at the university campus in Abdyia and the Deanship of University Studies for Girls simultaneously.
 

Meanwhile, Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Taha bin Amro Al-Saggaf said the forum received the support and attention of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji. He explained that statistics of the participations of males and females students reflects the importance and size of the forum and its expanded programs this year, revealing that participations included 78 scientific research in different specialties,  41 innovative ideas, 16 mini projects, 23 outstanding ideas, 10 reports, 30 awareness videos,  178 paintings including; Arabic calligraphic works and various types of drawings. He added that participants in the competitions, debates and different activities amounted to 272 male and female students, college coordinators amounted to 62 and the arbitrators amounted to 46, indicating that winners in the forum will qualify to the works of  8th scientific forum for UQU male and female students.    
 

 

Further, Dr. Al-Saggaf expressed thanks and appreciation to UQU President and UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs for their support and interest in such conference and scientific meetings. He also praised the working committees, and college coordinators for their efforts exerted to make the forum coming in such proper way.

 

For his part, Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Talal bin Mothana said the Deanship provided all potentials  for the forum to come in such unique way with the support and attention of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs. Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji  and Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Taha bin Amro Al-Saggaf, noting that winners were selected based on their participation in the different themes of the forum and he wished them all success.
