UQU celebrated the graduation of its 64th class from the different majors for the current academic year 1436/1437H in Makkah, Jamoum, Al-Leith and Alqunfudhah campuses, during a ceremony that took place on Thursday 21 Ragab 1437H at Abedia Campus, King Saud Hall, which was attended by UQU vice-presidents, deans, parents and a number of Makkah officials.
UQU President, Dr. Bakri Assas, emphasized that UQU graduates are the main building blocks that can be added to UQU accomplishments it contributes to the country, so as to play their role in building their community, their homeland and be building hands that would make their country proud of them. He added that UQU is one of the prestigious universities focused on Shari’a and Arabic subjects. As a leading educational institute in development areas, it took great interest in sciences of Shari’a, Arabic, human, administrative and natural sciences, so that it combines originality with modernism and it contributes – along other educational institutions in the country – to achieving the sustainable development plans through its outstanding output and its ability to graduate specialized students in all areas of knowledge and sciences.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Majid bin Said Al-Ghamedi, Dean of Admission and Registration, clarified that UQU is celebrating this year the graduation of its 64th class – consisting of 8130 students - for academic year 1436 – 1437H in the different scientific, theoretical, engineering and medical majors. He praised the support and care UQU President and Vice-President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Serougi show and for their continuous follow up and support for all deanship activities and programs. He also thanked the deanship work team.
