The Department of Computer Engineering inaugurated a room dedicated to students named "The Engineers' Diwan." Inside such room, students can sit, use all of its facilities for their educational purposes, meet with their friends for study and scientific discussions, or spend some time between lectures.

In this regard, the Department conducted a student tour two weeks ago in collaboration with the staff members: Dr. Mohammed Sanki, Dr. Abdul Latif Sumaya, and Dr. Abdulbasit Abed. Through the tour, the students were introduced to the room, its annexes and the methods to benefit from them.

The room contains LCD screens, a projector via which students can connect to their personal laptops and display their own topics or lectures, as well as personal computers equipped with basic programs for student use.

The room is also equipped with a Wi-Fi network to which students can connect their laptop or mobile phones and browse the Internet using their personal account at the university.

"The Engineers' Diwan" will be open every day from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. If students wish to be there in the evening, they should coordinate with the Department Head.
