The Evaluation Commission Grants Conditional Academic Accreditation to the Two Programs: “Da`wah and Islamic Culture” and “Qur’an and Sunnah”

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission, represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, granted conditional academic accreditation for the programs of "Da`wah and Islamic Culture" and "Qur'an and the Sunnah" at the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.

The UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, congratulated the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion on this achievement. He stressed that this achievement came as a result of the support that the university is accorded by the wise leadership, may Allah support it, which contributed to creating the appropriate educational environment and academic programs. He also praised the unceasing follow-up by His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Aal Al-Sheikh, and his Deputy for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sudairi, which had a positive impact on upgrading the educational, pedagogical, and research streams.

On his part, the UQU Acting Vice President for Development and Community Service, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, stated that this national achievement of the college will contribute to raising and developing the efficiency of academic performance at the university, in line with the best local quality standards and practices. He indicated that the university is working to achieve full programmatic accreditation for its academic programs, with the aim of aligning the university's outputs with the requirements of the labor market and improving the university's ranking locally and internationally. It would also ensure more optimal knowledge investment through education, scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship in this homeland of giving and growth.

In the same regard, the Acting Dean of the Deanship of University Development and Quality, Dr. Saeed Kabrah, mentioned that this achievement comes within the development steps that the university has taken to upgrade the academic and research level of all the UQU colleges and departments, according to standards that are in line with the modern requirements of the educational process.

On his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Yassin Qari, said that the two departments' obtaining academic accreditation comes as part of the college’s plan to obtain academic accreditation for all college programs.
