The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, has taken an administrative decision.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, clarified that the resolution came in light of the comprehensive developmental momentum in all domains which UQU witnessed. It also was in order to continue the university's efforts in the process of working hard to achieve its future objectives, vision and mission to be a leader in its various programs and activities which were consistent with Kingdom Vision 2030.
The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck in their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
The resolutions of UQU President included the following:
1- Designating Dr. Adnan bin Mohamed Al-Sharif as the Dean of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage Institute for a tenure of two years as of Jumada Al-Thani 28, 1438 H;
2- Designating Dr.Tariq bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Zhafar as Dean of Health Sciences College at Al-Lith Province for a tenure of two years as of Jumada Al-Thani 28,1438H;
3- Designating Dr. Wadei bin Ali bin Hussein Barqawi as the Dean OF Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute as of Rajab 2, 1438 H in addition to his work as Supervisor General of the Departments of Planning and Projects at the UQU Vice Presidency for Branches.
