The College of Nursing at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) took part in the celebration of the Gulf Nursing Day which was held at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Makkah.
The participation of the College of Nursing was via the establishment of an introductory section on the College to raise awareness and education among community members concerning the significance of the nursing profession in the health sector.
For his part, Dr. Ayman bin Khalid Jawahirji, Dean of the College of Nursing, said that the College's participation in such activities came to fulfill its third strategic objective which was to establish an integrated system for community service. He also appreciated the great support given to the College by the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas.
