President of Umm Al-Qura university Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas on Saturday Jumada Al-Thani 26, 1438 H paid an inspection visit to King Abdul-Aziz Historical hall and its lobby prepared for the ceremony of granting the honorary doctorate to the ex-minister of education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari. He was accompanied by the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, Dean of College of Education Dr. Ali Al-Matrafi, Dean of College of Community Dr. Khalid Al-Salimi. Dean of College of Social Sciences Dr. Mohamed Basagr, Supervisor general of the events Center Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Maghrabi, Advisor to UQU President, Supervisor general of his Office Mr. Essam bin Hassan Marqooshi and members of the ceremony committees.    

During his inspection tour, Dr. Assas checked on all preparations and arrangements made for the ceremony of granting an honorary doctorate to the x-minister of education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari. He listened to an elaborate presentation on the arrangements made and methods of receiving the guests at the hall. He checked on the scarf and gifts dedicated to the honored person and viewed a video on the efforts exerted to make the ceremony a success.

Concluding his inspection tour, UQU President lauded the sincere and dedicated work made by those in charge of the two ceremonies saying that this should come as no surprise since the university affiliates are always up to the good expectation.
