Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou launched on Wednesday Jumada Al-Thani 1438 H at his office in the university headquarters in Azizia the hashtag related to retirees ceremony for the current academic year 1438 H titled # Thanks_UQU_ Retirees in recognition of their efforts to serve the university. Present in the meeting were Supervisor General of the Events Center Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Mahmoud Maghrabi, Dean of Community College Dr. Khalid Al-Silaimi, Assistant Director of Faculty Members Affairs Department, Mr. Omer Bazaraa, Director of Public Relations and Media Department Mr. Khalid bin Jamil Morsi and the affiliates of media department. 

The hashtag is part of media campaign of the retirees ceremony designed by Department of Public Relations and Media Department and the UQU Events Center to highlight retirees efforts and the works they made during their tenure in the university. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Shoushou expressed his thanks and appreciation to the university retirees for the efforts they have exerted during their tenure, saying this ceremony is made to honor them. He lauded support of and concern of UQU President  to make the ceremony a success.
