Emir of Madinah HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz received at the Emirate's Headquarters in Al-Madinah on Sunday Jumada 13, 1438 H the President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas accompanied by the Dean of Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research Dr. Sami Barhmain, Head of the Institute branch in Al-Madinah Dr. Ahmed Al-Qadi, and Head of Department of Information and Scientific Services at the Institute Dr. Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Sobaie.
Meanwhile, UQU President expressed in his name and on behalf of the university affiliates his sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH for this renewed meeting which comes as part of his keenness to support march of the institute's branch in Al-Madinah and strengthen its scientific and research roles in providing services for the visitors of the Prophet's (PBUH) mosques so as to upgrade these services to the best levels in such manner which achieves directives and aspirations of the wise leadership in this regard. Dr. Assas also reviewed services, studies and researches undertaken by the Institute in Makkah and Al-Madinah.
For his part, Emir of Al-Madinah congratulated the new Dean of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research on the occasion of his appointment wishing him all success in his endeavors to serve and develop Hajj and Umrah services system. He lauded significant efforts exerted by the Institute and its keenness to conduct diverse scientific and field studies and researches in such manner which contributes to upgrading services provided for visitors of the Prophet's Mosques equivalent to the volume of attention provided by the state led by Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince to pilgrims and visitors of the prophet's mosques and their keenness to provide atmosphere of faith to help them perform their rituals safely and conveniently. He went on to add that Al-Madinah Emirate is keen to activate constructive partnership with the Institute and support its march to achieve the noble sought-after objectives, meanwhile urging those in charge of it to exert more efforts and carry out more studies and researches on all services provided for the visitors praying to Allah to bestow upon us all goodness.
During the meeting, Emir of Al-Madinah received 20 books published by King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz Chair for the Study of Makkah History besides Makkah digital Atlas from the UQU President Fr. Bakri Assas.
Within the same vein, Dean of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research Dr. Sami Yassin Barhmain valued the congratulation he received from the Emir of Al-Madinah on the occasion of his appointment as the Dean of the Institute praying for Almighty Allah to provide him with His support, guidance, and help in assuming the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to him in line with the services provided by the Kingdom for the Guests of Allah.
Further, HRH was briefed on the latest preparations and arrangements of the 17th Hajj and Umrah Forum to take place in Al-Madinah in mid-Shaaban 1438 H under the patronage of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques and honorable presence of the Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Higher Hajj Committee and Chairman of Higher Supervisory Committee of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research HRH Prince Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdul-Aziz.
