The Department of Staff Affairs and Employees of the Deanship of Faculty Affairs organizes a ceremony on Thursday 24-6-1438H to honor 106 retired members of the teaching staff.
The meeting will be held under the auspices of President of the Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr Bakri bin Ma’atoq Assas at King Abdul-Aziz Hall in the University City in Abidya for men and Al-Jawhara hall at the premises of the Deanship of University Studies for Girls in Al-Zaher.
UQU Deputy-Dean Dr Yasser bin Sulaiman Shosho extended his thanks and appeciation to the UQU President for his sponsorship of the ceremony, which reflects his keenness on honoring the university employees and teaching staff members, who exerted their utmost efforts in serving this lofty entity at UQU and sacrificed their time and age for elevating the university place.
He said the ceremony reflects the university’s desire to pay back to its affiliates, who have had a significant impact in its scientific and professional march.
