The College of Education Organizes a Scientific Seminar Entitled: ‘Smart Initiatives Towards Entrepreneurial Organizations’

The College of Education, represented by the Educational Administration and Planning Department, held a scientific seminar yesterday (Tuesday), 30 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1442 A.H., entitled: "Smart Initiatives Towards Entrepreneurial Organizations".

The seminar was attended by a large number of university academic leaders, including: the Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies, the Vice Dean of Faculty Members Affairs, the Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office at the university, the Deputy Head of the Department of Educational Management and Planning, along with a number of academic staff members and postgraduate students.

The seminar activities started with the speech of Dr. Khaled Al-Sulaimi, Head of the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, which was followed by the speech of Dr. Maha bint Abdullah Muhammad Al-Sharif, Professor of Organizational Behavior in Educational Institutions. The seminar witnessed the presentation of a number of initiatives by PhD students, including an initiative entitled, "You Deserve It", which aims to improve the productivity of the government employees, and the "4x4" initiative, which aims at improving workers behaviors and changing them for the better, according to their proposals and desires. This initiative facilitates commitment to change, achieving job satisfaction and managing change efficiently. These presentations were followed by the "Smart Watch" initiative, whose goal is to increase the skill, administrative and technical capabilities of the workers by them accompanying their experienced colleagues and sharing experience and skills with them. Finally, the initiative of "We Are All with You" was presented, which aims to introduce new students and academic and administrative staff members to the rules, laws, regulations and services of the university, and to provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to enable them to adapt to the university environment.

These initiatives come within the efforts of the Department of the Educational Administration and Planning and its keenness to encourage the department students to manage such meetings and enrich them with all new and beneficial developments in their field. The seminar witnessed amazing interaction, interesting questions, and constructive discussions. Enquiries of the audience were answered on the topics of the seminar, which achieved all its objectives.
