The UQU Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship organized a virtual interactive dialogue session entitled: "Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship in Light of the New University System Toward the Realization of the Saudi Vision 2030". The session was attended by a number of the university staff and affiliates.
Several themes were covered during the session, including the following: the impact of entrepreneurship and the pioneering spirit on the society, the difference between creativity and innovation, the contribution to the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030 through the implementation of the New University System, and ways to revive the entrepreneurship sector in regions far from the cities.
During the session, the Vice Dean of the College for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Rami Pasha, underlined that this event comes as part of a series of scheduled events and development programs organized by the college with the aim of contributing to the provision of community services, harnessing and benefiting from the expertise and cadres in the university, and promoting a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship in villages far from the cities. He emphasized the college's intention to enrich entrepreneurial content, support those interested in creativity and innovation, promote financial awareness, and enhance self-employment skills in the Saudi community.
