His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih, the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, met the students of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah in the first virtual open meeting for the year 1442 A.H., during which an open dialog session was held between Dr. Ayman and the students. This took place on Wednesday, 10 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1442 A.H., at 8:00 p.m. The session was moderated by the student Ibrahim Yahya Al-Zubaidi, who started the session by welcoming the attendees and introducing the meeting and its objectives.
The meeting began with an opening speech by Dr. Ayman Al-Falih in which he welcomed the students of the Department of Industrial Engineering and the new students in the department. The speech included an introduction of the Department of Industrial Engineering, and some statistics and figures about the department. His Excellency also thanked the students for their keenness to attend the first virtual meeting of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah for the year 1442 A.H., and indicated that this meeting comes within the framework of the department's keenness on maintaining continuous communication with the students, directing them and answering their inquiries, in line with the directives of His Excellency the Dean of the College as well as His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab.

His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih clarified everything related to the educational process in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and also the department plans and procedures for the final exams. He also provided advice and guidance to students before starting their final exams and discussing graduation projects.
With regard to the education offered, His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih talked about the most prominent efforts made by the college and the Department of Industrial Engineering during the distance learning phase, to continue the educational process in the best way under the guidance of the wise leadership.
During the meeting, the internal and external activities of the department's students were reviewed and discussed, along with ways to develop the activities in the student clubs and interactive events.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih honored the outstanding students of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah. He also honored the distinguished students who were involved in the activities and work of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah and the college.
On his part, the moderator and presenter of the session, the student Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi, on behalf of his fellow students of the Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, extended many thanks to His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih for all the efforts made by the department during the distance education stage.
