Tomorrow, Saturday, the activities of the First Pharmacy Education Conference will be launched. The event has been organized by Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the College of Pharmacy, and will last for two days via its virtual platform, under the auspices of the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab. The conference will be held in the presence of the President of Taif University, Prof. Dr. Yussuf Asiri, and the General Supervisor of the Umm Al-Qura University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Babalghaith, with the participation of a group of academics and specialists in the fields of pharmacy and its educational programs.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Faisal Al-Maliki, said that the conference seeks to explore effective solutions to the challenges of pharmacy education, and draw up development plans to improve its study programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This will be achieved through seminars and scientific lectures conducted within the conference sessions to review educational issues, related research and studies, and applications using technology to develop the skills of pharmacy students and raise their levels and scientific capabilities.
