The UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, reviewed the annual report of the Deanship of Student Affairs, which includes the activities and programs held by the deanship and its vice deanships and branches, as well as the student services offered during the previous academic year (1441 A.H.).
The UQU President appreciated the efforts exerted by the Deanship of Student Affairs and its staff in serving the students during the academic year (1441 A.H.). The UQU President also lauded the various programs and activities included in the report, which contributed to alleviating the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic which has spread throughout the world. He added that these activities offered a comfortable educational environment to the university students, and enabled them to continue their educational journey remotely in an easy and smooth manner.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Omar Sunbul, elaborated on the efforts exerted by the deanship and its different vice deanships and branches, as well as the programs, activities and services stated in the annual report of the previous academic year. In addition, Dr. Omar outlined the obstacles and challenges facing the educational progress of the UQU students.
Dr. Omar confirmed that the Deanship of Student Affairs, with the follow-up and directives of the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, is keen to continue its progress to achieve its objectives, which are in line with the general strategic plan set by the university in order to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. Dr. Omar added that the Deanship of Student Affairs works in collaboration with all the UQU sectors in order for Umm Al-Qura University to become a leading university (Allah willing).
