UQU President Inspects the Administrative Environment Preparations of the University Vice Presidency and Its Affiliated Organizations

The President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, today, after his inspection visit in which he checked on the preparations of the administrative environment at the building of the general administration, met with the UQU Vice President, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, the vice deans of the Deanship of Academic Staff and Employee Affairs, and the directors of the administrations directly related to the UQU Vice Presidency.

The President of the University praised the unceasing support and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them, for the educational and research system. He also lauded the support and follow up of the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Aal Al-Sheikh, and the Deputy Minister for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sudairi, towards developing a university environment that serves the Saudi community. This is accomplished by boosting the educational process and contributing to providing scientific consultation to develop the national institutions and the system of Hajj, Umrah and visits to the sacred sites through its scientific and research programs.

He underlined the importance of kind treatment with the affiliates of the university and its students and visitors, harnessing modern technology to serve them in line with the e-governance strategies and restructuring the human resources according to the needs. He referred to the importance of establishing a specialized center concerned with developing skills through a series of specialized courses which meet the needs of the employees.

Aal Madh-hab expressed his great pleasure in the human capabilities he saw in all fields. He referred to the importance of studying performance indicators and developing them according to the physical need, taking advantage of the academic expertise and harnessing their skills and their scientific and practical expertise to upgrade the university and its outputs to be in line with the modern requirements of the labor market, according to the strategies of the Saudi Vision 2030.

On his part, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi reviewed the vision of the UQU Vice Presidency and its strategic objectives towards developing the human resources using the best means of training and development. He also referred to the aim of providing high-quality integrated administrative services depending on the best technical programs and information systems in financial services, in such a manner that enables the university to achieve financial balance.
