Umm Al-Qura University Signs a Professional Development Contract Ending with Employment in the Human Development Fund (Hadaf)

Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Institute for Consulting Research and Studies, today on Tuesday, signed a professional training contract based on employing the outputs of the OSH personnel program in the Human Development Fund (Hadaf) at the headquarters of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh.

The agreement aimed to establish a strategic partnership to train (500) female jobseekers and employ them in the private sector establishments. Those who pass the training program will join one of the jobs in the private sector institutions and establishments, after their registration in the social insurance scheme. In this agreement, program support is allocated to male and female researchers who are registered in the national labor portal (Taqat).

The Institute for Consulting Research and Studies and the SAFE Center for Safety and Risk and Crisis Management will present, under this agreement, two training programs, one under the name of "Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner" consisting of 198 training hours for about 300 trainees. The other program is called, "Occupational Safety and Health Professional", with 320 training hours for about 200 trainees.

The SAFE Center for Safety and Risk and Crisis Management is one of the components of Umm Al-Qura Consultancy Oasis. It is also one of the most important initiatives that gained acceptance and approval in the National Transformation Program 2020 due to its importance in the field of security and safety for members of society and various professional and national institutions.

The Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Sha`iri, stated that Umm Al-Qura Consultancy Oasis is concerned with providing specialized programs, including advisory services as well as professional development. Through these programs, the SAFE Center seeks to provide national and international expertise to support the qualification, research and advisory process specialized in safety and risk and crisis management. This makes it unique in the Makkah region, being the first center affiliated to an official and specialized educational institution.

Dr. Al-Sha`iri praised the continuous support of the President of the University, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, for the institute and its consulting units and centers, which target the various segments and institutions of the nation and provide them with specialized national forces and expertise.
