UQU Vice-President for Branches Dr. Abdulmajeed Al Ghamdi has honored the director and staff of the Operation and Maintenance Department during the ceremony organized by UQU Vice-Presidency for Branches at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyah Campus, on Tuesday, Jumada Al-Thani 8th, 1438 A.H.
The ceremony was commenced with speech delivered by director of the Operation and Maintenance Department Eng. Abdel Mohsen Al Ahmedy, where he extended his deep appreciation to UQU President and Vice-President for their ongoing support to the department. He also expressed his thanks to the Vice-President for Branches for his attention and continuous personal follow-up of performance development, stressing that such honoring is the outstanding hallmark of UQU. In the same vein, applauded the efforts exerted by Vice-Presidency for Branches for honoring the Operation and Maintenance staff, as well as its ongoing motivation to spare no effort to serve the university and the staff.
After that, Vice-President for Branches Dr. Abdulmajeed Al Ghamdi addressed the audience, and imparted the greetings of UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas to the director and staff of the Operation and Maintenance Department, noting that honoring is a good practice initiated by the Kingdom’s leadership – may Allah make him successful – to honor outstanding performers in all fields.
Dr. Al Ghamdi said, “Directed by UQU President, the Vice-presidency for Branches will regularly honor all outstanding performers in various departments, to enhance and motivate competition to do their utmost to serve our beloved homeland through our blessed university.” He applauded the efforts exerted by the Operation and Maintenance staff, stressing that the Vice-Presidency for Branches will spare no effort to invest all capacities, boost outstanding performers in their fields and honor them. He also urged all to keep pursuing this approach.
At the end of the ceremony, the Vice-President for Branches Dr. Al Ghamdi honored the Operation and Maintenance staff. Then the Department Director presented a memorial souvenir to Dr. Al Ghamdi.
