UQU Vice-President Follows up Career Aptitude Tests for Administrative Jobs

Vice-President and Chairman of the the committee assigned to supervise job tests Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho has reviewed procedures of written tests held for administrative jobs.

During a tour to check on the process at King Saud Hall in Al-Abdiyah, he was accompanied with Dean of E-Learning Deanship Khalid bin Hatem Al Mutairi and Head of the Department of Staff Affairs Mr. Nizar Abbas.

The visit is part of a tour to keep an eye on the test procedures and to guarantee sound organization as per directives by President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas. In connection with the tests, he said job competitions were announced and posted on the university's website.

Committees affiliated to the Ministry of Social Services (MOCS) in Makkah have finished first phase of the hiring process in cooperation with specialized academics and employees at the university, he said, adding those who failed to meet the requirements were disqualified and removed from the race.

The assessment and scoring process is computerized to maintain levels of transparency, he said. Regarding the results and interviews for candidates who passed tests, he added they would be published this month.

The vice-president extended thanks to Dean of Undergraduate Studies (Girls Section) Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al Amoudi who overseen the tests held for girls' section. Also, he hailed efforts exerted by Mr. Abbas in supervising the tests.

He thanked committees held to facilitate the process under the applicable laws and regulations.
