His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Province, at the emirate’s headquarters, witnessed the signing of memoranda of cooperation of Umm Al-Qura and Taif Universities with the district police.
The memoranda of cooperation signed by the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, and His Excellency the President of Taif University, Dr. Yussuf Asiri, with the Director of the District Police, Major General Eid Al-Otaibi, aims at training and attracting competencies to develop security performance and also social and voluntary services. This is in addition to exchanging experiences in the criminal laboratories, the departments of computer-related crimes, the divisions of technical forensic exanimation of fingerprints and applications, the electronic pathways, as well as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
Among the aims of this cooperation is sharing experiences and knowledge and implementing training, educational and technical programs and activities, according to the academic systems followed by the two universities. This is besides providing administrative, financial, technical, legal and security consultation, and supporting and developing human resources in order to qualify the employees and refine their skills in line with the latest administrative and technical techniques and approved academic systems.
