Dr. Tamadur Kutbi Wins the First Place in the Exhibition of the Saudi Society for Fine Arts

The Deputy Head of the UQU Department of Visual Arts, Dr. Tamadur Kutbi, won the first place in the Fine Art Exhibition accompanying the activities of the Saudi Society for Fine Arts (Makkah Branch) on the occasion of the 90th National Day Celebrations.

Dr. Tamadur dubbed this achievement as a significant millstone in her artistic career, and a catalyst to provide more innovations. She added that the award is an objective for every artist interested in fine art in the Saudi Kingdom. Dr. Tamadur gave her winning painting the title of "You Empowered Me ... I Gained Innovation", in gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman, for their keen interest and care to empower the Saudi women in all sectors, and for offering her a great opportunity to show her diverse creativity and capabilities.

The Deputy Head of the Department of Visual Arts said the award highlighted the true meanings and values of the Saudi National Day and its status for the Saudi people, who showed their outstanding talents and capabilities, during the day, as an expression of their love and loyalty, rushing to present a bright image about the Saudi citizen.

The Saudi Society for Fine Arts, a non-profit cultural institution, has been interested in fine arts since 1428 A.H. It supports the Saudi fine art artists by organizing exhibitions, seminars, workshops and lectures related to art in all regions of the kingdom.
