Dr Mariam Ahmad Alnasser Alghamdi presented a paper on ‘The Post-Human in Contemporary American Poetry’ in the International Conference on Poetry Studies: "Poetry Between Creation and Interpretation" hosted by the London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Saturday 19, 2020. The paper employs an interdisciplinary approach with ideas from the field of artificial intelligence to explore representations of the (post)human self, (dis)embodiment, and (im)mortality in Robert Pinsky’s poetry.
