Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khouli, inspected the readiness of the classrooms and facilities at the female section in Al-Zahir, in preparation for receiving the female students of the practical and training courses for the academic year 1442 A.H. as well as those whose attendance at the university campus is required. Dr. Sarah was accompanied by the UQU Assistant Vice President for Female Student Administrative Affairs, Dr. Samirah Al-Abdali.
During her inspection tour, Dr. Sara Al-Khouli stressed the importance of implementing the safety protocols, preparing the educational environment to receive students at the campus according to precautionary measures, maintaining social distance, in accordance with the specified distances, during the entrance and exit of students and during their classes inside the classrooms, facilities, and laboratories, and also stipulating that students and university staff wear face masks and use their own personal tools. This is to ensure the safety of everyone and guarantee the continuation of the educational process and academic services in line with the university safety guidelines and regulations, to achieve a safe return to campus under the slogan "Returning with Caution".
Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Students Affairs lauded the support of the President of the University, His Excellence Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and his interest in the various sectors of the system and their workflow, to guarantee the benefit of the students and enable them to attend the practical courses in the facilities and laboratories. She praised the effort exerted by the General Department of Educational Affairs and the Administration of Public Services and Facilities in organizing awareness-raising programs and harnessing potentials to ensure security and safety.
On her part, Dr. Samirah Al-Abdali emphasized the keenness of the Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs to provide the best academic services to the students, follow up the continuation of the educational process in the College of Applied Sciences, and ensure that the laboratories are ready to receive the students while applying all the preventive precautions against the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
