The Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Dr. Basim Qadi, stressed the importance of continuing the lauded work on developing the system of services provided to the pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah.
The dean participated in the first virtual forum for enriching the experience of the pilgrims performing Umrah, which was organized today by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the institute, under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Muhammad bin Salih Benten. During his participation, Dr. Qadi said that the study of the housing system for the pilgrims and visitors and the ways to develop it is one of the most important pillars of the objectives of the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030 and its aspirations to increase the expected numbers of pilgrims and visitors during the coming years.
In his academic paper, Dr. Qadi referred to the laudable role played by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research and its contributions to many studies and practical research. Such work of the institute is concerned with assessing and developing the housing services provided to the pilgrims and visitors performing Hajj and Umrah as well as all the services provided to the guests of Al-Rahman (the Merciful), determining their needs by harnessing artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
Moreover, the Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research commended the exerted efforts and the development contributions to expand and develop the Hajj and Umrah sectors. He also praised the training offered to the workers for them to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to raise and improve the level of services provided to pilgrims and visitors, thereby ensuring their comfort, safety, and security during their journey.
