The CEO of Wadi Makkah for Technology Company, Dr. Faisal Allaf, today, at the company's headquarters, received a delegation from the Royal Commission in Makkah and the Holy Sites, represented by the Crowd Management Adviser in the commission, Dr. Wael Halabi, and a number of the commission's leaders. The aim of the visit was to discuss and explore the means of cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the technical projects and programs implemented by business incubators in Wadi Makkah, and the trademarks registered with them, such as, Archithon: the Model Disctrict, Zamkan: Co-Working Spaces, and Nomow Business Incubator, in addition to some pioneering projects. The members of the delegation also viewed the design structure of Wadi Makkah Real Estate Company, and listened to a detailed explanation from the CEO of Wadi Makkah about the first phase of the scheme (for the business center) aimed at creating a promising entrepreneurial environment for entrepreneurs. In addition, they reviewed the company's plans and its strategic location on the outskirts of Makkah.
Dr. Halabi pointed out that the visit of the commission’s delegation to Wadi Makkah for Technology came to learn about the programs and investment projects presented by the company in the fields of technology. The visit also aimed at discussing ways of cooperation to harness the youthful and creative minds of the people of the country and employ them to serve small and medium enterprises, thereby enriching the knowledge product, which in turn contributes to strengthening and supporting the national economy. In addition, it aimed at developing Hajj and Umrah projects and the management of crowds at the holy sites.
He added that the commission’s delegation discussed many programs with officials at Wadi Makkah for Technology to serve the entrepreneur community and link them to local and international companies.
Moreover, Dr. Allaf stressed that the company aims to contribute effectively to developing the knowledge economy through partnerships between educational and research institutions and the business community. This is with the goal to support the local market with national products in the fields of technology and innovation, in addition to investing in the creative energies of the Saudi citizens and their intellectual production in order for them to play their role in serving their society.
