Yesterday, Monday, the UQU Academic Council started its first session for the academic year 1442 A.H., at King Faisal Hall. The aim of the session was to follow up the promotions of the academic staff members and the new developments in their academic affairs.
The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Resini, stated that the council, in its new session, includes a constellation of UQU academics who aim at giving the needed concern to the educational and research process, at organizing academic affairs of the academic staff members and the like, and at achieving the principle of justice, in accordance with the laws and regulations.
The council also endeavors, in its future plan, to strive for excellence in leading the staff members to be proficient in academic and research affairs, achieve knowledge excellence for the university at the global level, and support the outstanding academic staff. This is in addition to boosting cooperation and building partnerships with the academic councils in a number of universities around the world.
