His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to demerge the Center for Documents and Administrative Communications. The center will become two separate centers bearing the following names:

• Documents and Archive Center
• Administrative Communications Center

His Excellency the UQU President also issued two more administrative decisions, which include the following:

1. Appointment of Mr. Ahmad bin Fathi bin Abdul-Malik Sabban as Director of the Administrative Communications Center.
2. Appointment of Dr. Dina bint Aidah Himdan Al-Ghamdi as General Supervisor of the Documents and Archive Center, in addition to her current work.

The decision mirrors the university’s earnest endeavor to achieve organizational consistency and integration with the organizational arrangements of the document and archive centers at the government entities established by the Council of Ministers. This will greatly contribute to smoothness and integrity in the execution of the operational process flowcharts of both centers.
