The mother of Dr. Ahmad bin Yahia Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Professor of English Literature at the Department of English, passed away.

His Excellency the UQU President, Dr. Abdullah Bafail, on his behalf and on the behalf of the university staff, expressed his sincere consolations to the bereaved family. He supplicated Allah (Exalted be He) to encompass the deceased with His mercy and forgiveness, and to grant patience and consolation to her family.

Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return!
